iOS application
A Flutter client with an iOS WebView, universal links, push notifications and in-app purchases. It retains the last visited page and adapts startup and appearance to the system.
OUR WORK / 02
Read. Listen. Make progress.
On iOS, Android and the Web, Jibril.me brings together Quran reading, verse-by-verse audio, study tools and prayer times. A complete product, from the guest journey to subscriptions and administration.

THE CONTEXT
The project goes beyond browsing texts: users can resume reading, annotate a verse, revisit questions and track their progress. We connected these journeys to one account, multilingual content and mobile services. The platform combines a Laravel / React application with Flutter clients for iOS and Android, sharing a Web foundation and native integrations.
01 · iOS · Android · Web
A shared Web foundation, extended with platform-specific mobile integrations.
A Flutter client with an iOS WebView, universal links, push notifications and in-app purchases. It retains the last visited page and adapts startup and appearance to the system.
A Flutter client with an Android WebView, App Links and OneSignal notifications. Back-button handling, pull-to-refresh, navigation recovery and an account-linked purchase journey.
Reading and a personal workspace in the browser, with layouts for phones and desktops. The account connects progress, annotations and preferences across access points.

02 · Read & listen
Text, audio and reading position work together, including transitions between surahs.

Integration of 114 surahs and 6,236 verses, with Arabic text and French and English translations. Surah and part navigation, search and language-specific content.
Full-screen reading or a mini player, active-verse highlighting, previous / next controls and audio seeking. The player retains its session during navigation and moves between surahs without rebuilding the whole reading workspace.
French and English speech generation with ElevenLabs, file caching and preloading of upcoming verses. Measured durations support playback progress and remaining listening time.
Account-linked last-verse tracking and reading history. Progress stays separate by language; a cross-tab lock prevents multiple windows from controlling the same reading session.
03 · Understand
Study tools connect directly to the passage being read, keeping related work together.
Create a note from a verse or selected word, then find, edit or delete it. Annotations remain linked to the surah, verse and working language.
Save a general or passage-specific question, track its status and keep a personal answer. Premium accounts can also request AI-assisted answers from their workspace.
Character profiles, roles, descriptions and key points linked to surahs. Manual creation, editing and personal lists, with assisted character and summary generation for Premium accounts.
04 · Every day
Local times, calendars and notifications connect the application to everyday routines.
AlAdhan API integration, a city catalogue, suitable calculation methods and time-zone handling. Data is synchronized and cached for the dashboard and local pages.
French and English ICS calendars and webcal links, using a rolling seven-day window. Users can bring their city’s prayer times into a compatible calendar application.
OneSignal notifications based on the selected city, time zone and account preferences. The Web / mobile bridge links devices to the account, while email reminders follow separate notification choices.
A daily rotation of selected verses, with text and translation in the user’s language. Viewing, daily-exercise completion and reminders are included in the journey.
05 · Progress
Clear progress based on actions actually recorded in the application.
Language-specific progress, started and completed surahs, verses read and daily history. The journey includes a daily reading goal and allows one language’s progress to be reset independently.
Experience points for reading and study actions, achievement badges and levels tied to completed weeks. Rewards and their history stay linked to the progress language.
A guided tour of the dashboard and reader. On mobile, guest mode opens the first three surahs; registration upgrades that guest account without losing existing progress.
06 · Platform
Design, access, subscriptions and operations were built around the same journeys.
Scoping of reading, study and subscription journeys. Application available in French and English, Arabic text reading, reading-direction adaptation and light, dark or system appearance.
Web subscriptions through Stripe and iOS / Android in-app purchase integration through RevenueCat. Purchase restoration, account reconciliation, Premium access management and subscription lifecycle emails.
Registration, email verification, password recovery, two-factor authentication and passkeys. Device and access management, with separate guest, member and administration journeys.
User and Premium management, support tickets with attachments, notifications and activity logs. Administration also supervises text imports and audio generation, with progress tracking, pause, resume and stop controls.
Multilingual public pages for surahs, prayer times and Ramadan, organized by country and city. Catalogue search, localized metadata, a sitemap and links into application journeys.
