API integration

Your tools, connected.

Get the right data flowing between the right tools.

We connect your websites and applications to the services your business needs. Integration starts with a review of documentation, access permissions and the data to be exchanged.

Start with your business

Keep information moving.

Connecting software becomes useful when it removes a manual step or makes information available at the right time. We start by describing that use: which data leaves which tool, where does it go and how often? Mapping these flows defines an exchange people can understand and operate.

Integration also depends on service constraints: access permissions, formats, quotas, test environments and available versions. We review these before confirming scope. Expected behaviour includes normal responses as well as duplicates, incomplete data and interruptions.

THE EXCHANGE CONTRACT

Connect with purpose.

  1. 01

    Data flow mapping

Data, direction of exchange, frequency and each system’s responsibilities.

  2. 02

    Connector & error handling

API calls, authentication and response handling based on the available documentation.

  3. 03

    Testing & operation

Verification of expected cases, useful logs and connection documentation.

IN PRACTICE

Transfer orders

Send an order to a management or production tool. We define identifiers, statuses and the information needed to follow processing across systems.

Share business information

Synchronise information used by several teams or services. The source of truth, update direction and frequency are chosen around your operations.

Add an external service

Integrate payment, shipping or a partner service available through an API. Documentation and authorised access determine what the connection can actually do.

These deliverables provide a starting point for discussion. The final scope and acceptance criteria are agreed before work begins.

HOW WE WORK

From scope to handover.

  1. 01

    Check feasibility

We review documentation and identify available data, permissions and environments. Tool limits and sample exchanges help estimate the connection before implementation.

  2. 02

    Build a controlled exchange

The connector handles requests and responses according to agreed rules. We define which errors to report, which attempts to retry and which checks prevent inconsistent processing.

  3. 03

    Test and document

Representative data is used to check expected scenarios. Documentation describes exchanges, settings and the information needed to operate the connection or prepare changes.

BUDGET REFERENCE

A clear scope from the start.

€600ex VAT / day

Work estimated at €600 excluding VAT per production day, after scoping.

Production days are a workload estimate, not a calendar delivery deadline. Third-party subscriptions and fees are identified separately.

BEFORE WE TALK

What helps us get started.

  • Tools to connect and their API documentation
  • Data to exchange and its direction of flow
  • Examples of available files or responses
  • Technical contacts and test environments

Required access is organised during scoping. The quote reflects documented capabilities and the third-party services involved.

IN PRACTICE

Real projects. Real uses.

YOUR QUESTIONS

Before we start.

Budget, scope, timing and handover: these answers help you prepare your project. For a question specific to your business, let’s talk directly.

Let’s discuss your needs
Can you integrate any tool?

Feasibility depends on the tool’s APIs, their limits and authorised access. We check these before confirming the scope.

What happens when an API changes?

An integration may need updating. Monitoring and maintenance of that connection are defined in the agreed support scope.

Are subscriptions included?

Work is estimated at €600 excluding VAT per day. Third-party subscriptions and usage fees are identified separately.

Do exchanges need to happen in real time?

Not always. Scheduled updates can be enough for some workflows; others need an immediate event. We compare each tool’s capabilities with your actual need and related operating costs.

What happens when a service stops responding?

Behaviour is defined for each flow: keep a request, retry, report an error or ask for human action. These rules are tested in the available environments and documented for ongoing operation.
